Practice billing

Accountant plans, seat usage, upgrading and managing your Stripe billing.

Practice billing is separate from personal (Business plan) billing. Manage it from Practice → Billing.

Plans

  • Starter — up to 20 client businesses.
  • Practice — up to 50 client businesses.
  • Unlimited — no cap, priority support.

A client seat is used the moment they accept your invite. Pending invitations count toward the cap so you can't over-invite.

Upgrading and downgrading

  1. Open Practice → Billing and pick a plan.
  2. Confirm the change on the summary dialog — it shows the prorated charge and effective date.
  3. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at period end so nothing you've paid for is lost.

Managing card and invoices

Tap Manage billing to open the Stripe billing portal — update your card, download invoices or cancel. The generic guidance in Managing your subscription applies here too, including the "expired billing session" recovery flow.

Handing a client back to personal billing

If a client leaves your practice, remove them from Clients. Their business record and data stay with them — they'll be prompted to start their own Business plan (or the free trial) the next time they sign in.
